At the end of the 19th century, the emergence of steel beams made it possible to have a wild space without the support of concrete walls. Since then, a new, more casual office layout, open-plan office space, has become popular. People gradually walk out of the "oppressive" walls and get more natural light, flexible space, and freedom. The open-plan office, which symbolizes democracy and emphasizes interaction, has been evolving in recent decades, from the orderly and uniform work space at the beginning, to the randomly distributed table and “hotel-style offices”to co-working or office space with kitchen, dining room and entertainment facilities, the humanized design concept has been refreshing.
Now, more and more people are looking for a mixed office that meets individual corporate cultural needs and promotes collaborative innovation. In order to avoid blindly closure or open, the R&D team of ARTLAND PSM uses color and geometric styling elements to construct a creative space with flexible circulation, which is balance between fusion and privacy, and renders the entire indoor environment with perfect visual presentation.
“Give a quiet place in the open area.” is the starting for the research and development of ARTLAND PSM, more research results will be updated soon…
